An Elegant Open-Plan Living Space

LIVING AREAS AND BEDROOM

The upper floor features an expansive open-plan layout accentuated by double-height ceilings, creating a sense of grandeur. Here, a cosy TV lounge with an inviting open fire complements a refined office/library area. An elegant staircase and elevator lead to the stunning kitchen and dining space.

The bespoke walnut kitchen, adorned with black natural granite countertops, is outfitted with top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances, including an oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, along with an induction hob by White House. A breakfast island seamlessly connects the kitchen to the dining area, where a table comfortably seats 10 guests against the magnificent backdrop of the Matterhorn, visible through double-height windows. A spacious south-facing balcony equipped with lounge furniture invites relaxation while soaking in the breathtaking alpine surroundings. Chalet Strom has 2 double bedrooms and then a family suite with a double bed and two bunk beds, The master Family suite, located on the floor below, boasts a sumptuous 180 x 200 cm king-size bed, complemented by a walk-in dressing room and a lavish ensuite featuring a large rainfall shower, twin sinks, and a separate WC. Finished in oak and Swedish natural stone, this sanctuary also includes a spacious south-facing balcony and direct access to an outdoor jacuzzi. Adjacent to the master bedroom, a double room with an ensuite shower, WC, and sink ensures privacy and comfort for guests.

Descending further, the lower floor presents a versatile bedroom featuring a king-size double bed and two full-size bunk beds (80 x 200 cm), making it ideal for couples or families with children. This floor also offers a small lounge with a TV and sofa, as well as a kitchen and south-facing terrace, providing a self-contained living option. An ensuite bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower, bathtub, twin sinks, and a separate WC completes this level, along with direct access to the outdoor jacuzzi.

For the adventurous, guests can ski directly from the chalet to the Sunnegga funicular lift’s base station. Less confident skiers can conveniently download using the funicular, with the chalet just a short uphill walk away. An elevator offers easy transport from the bottom station to the piste, chalet, and the nearby après-ski bar at CERVO Mountain Resort.

A variety of dining options are located just a short stroll from the chalet, while the vibrant centre of Zermatt is approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk away. The chalet is also easily accessible by electric taxi, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
